A'Town Bistro

Came here during my lunch break and I tried their wild boar burger. It was big, fresh, and delicious. Again, FRESH. The buns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which were perfect and the thickness of the meat was generous. They also have a lot of drinks to choose from. If I weren't on the clock, I'd have ordered a dark beer. Will definitely visit again!

Small, must be a person who is open to eclectic foods, very good, but check the menu before going. I had the gnocchi and meatballs, very tasty, included rabbit meat. I'd order it again.

If you are in Anacortes and you like amazing food, ambience and service then eat here. My partner and I popped in for a drink. The food and drinks menu were so good we ended up ordering a few cocktails and beers as well as the cheese/meat platter and chocolate gateau dessert. It was the perfect accidental finding!!!! Our server Kellen was very good and answered all the questions we threw at him. I have travelled all over the world and every now and again you find a hidden gem. This is definitely one of them:-)

Clam chowder is a must try. Very unique flavor. Rich, creamy goodness. It's perfect with the toast.

This is more upscale than most establishments in the city, but they certainly welcomed even the casually dressed and we felt quite comfortable. The food was nothing short of magnificent. It tasted wonderful and looked wonderful (see photos). They also had a large selection of drinks to choose from which included wines and many craft beers. The staff was friendly and the service was great.

My favorite spot for a ladies night or date night. Local, fresh ingredients, and a few rotating menu items. Delicious and fun cocktails. The clam chowder is a MUST-try item.

If you want a true clam chowder with real clams, this is the place to go to. It is a must stop for lunch if up in Anacortes. It is true made to order and it is quite hearty.

Loved this place! Better food and better prices than so many hipster Seattle joints. The atmosphere is warm and simple, the music is hip but relaxing. And the food? Tostada fry bread! Pork belly fried rice! Wild boar burger with yellow curry ketchup! Need I say more?

Excellent combination of food prepared in Big City fashion. Easy to access with local parking for free. Very enjoyable and I would go again. Have one of their custom mixed drinks! You won't be sorry.

It says $$$ on google but I felt prices were more $$. My duck breast salad was $15 and was a much larger portion than I anticipated (always good news!). They had initially put the dressing in the salad even though I asked for dressing on the side, and gracefully took it back and remade it as I had asked (so good service too!). My friend had the pork belly and vegetable quiche which was delicious as well. Great buttery crust (but not overtly buttered), and soft center. I personally prefer slightly more solid but still 10/10. Went there at 1 pm on Thursday and the place only had a few other patrons, which meant food came out fast.

I was very impressed with the food quality. My daughter is fairly finicky, and she ate everything. The baguette that came with our meal was very similar to what I've had in France. Right now they're doing takeout meals, and I was impressed with the setup which included a reusable bag and directions for reheating the entire meal. Just all around a great experience.

Awesome service. Great food. Catered to us once we sat down. Super popular. Reservations are recommended if you have more than two people in the party. Open style kitchen so you got to see your food being cooked. You can see they pride themselves over their menu and drinks. HIGHLY recommend the made-to-order clam chowder. It takes a little while, but so worth it. Fresh clams in the bowl, super flavorful, lots of bacon bits. On top of that the fresh bread was awesome! We also ordered the angel hair pasta - great flavor, lots of ingredients within the pasta. This is our second time here and needless to say we will be returning!

Fantastic dining experience. Our dry aged steak was extremely soft and buttery. Muscles and fries were delicious. Atmosphere was cozy and service friendly. Great place for a nice night out. Pricey but so worth it!

This is really a nice place with a good atmosphere. They seem like there really into food and putting out a great dish. Price also seems pretty reasonable.

Okay, they have my favorite most decadent clam chowder though you will need to pull thr clams out of their shells so there is some work involved. They normally have a very good local beer selection as well. Everything else I have tasted on the menu has been excellent though 8 out 10 trips I tend to go for the clam chowder.

Outstanding menu choices along with a nice beer and wine and drink selection. I enjoyed the Pinot Gris from Washington State. I had the fish and chips with a panko crust. The shoestring potatoes were done to perfection along with the fish and a delicious side of coke slaw. My friend had the onion soup and it was among the top 3 of onion soups that I have ever had. The pulled pork sandwich was getting rave reviews and we both mentioned how good the service was. A wonderful lunch experience in Anacortes.

Interesting fair here I need to try a few more times to give a full good review of this establishment. The ideas behind the food are awesome, but I might require a bit more seasoning to open up the flavors intended? I will give another try and finish my review at that time.

Best restaurant so far in Anacortes (after trying over a dozen so far). Great service/atmosphere; really nice draft beer selection/wine list. Portions can sometimes be a bit small but flavors/preparation are fantastic. Prices are high for the area but in line with the food quality.

We had a fabulous experience at A’Town Bistro. There were 12 of us and the service and food were EXCELLENT! Timely , delicious, unique but not too odd . Kate was a fabulous server . A new favorite for our group !

Stopped in for a bowl of their delicious made-to-order clam chowder. They use whole clams in a creamy broth that's not as heavy as your typical chowder. Very filling dish that's gluten free to boot! Their gluten free bread is also delicious, with a wonderful airy texture. Service was efficient, helpful, friendly and not intrusive. I will definitely be back!

Its a nice place... Food was good, not great. Service was solid. It's expensive for what you get ( I'm talking quality not quantity) but still good food. Has a full bar and a great selection of beer/wine. Would go back! Had the fish and chips with curry ketchup which was really good....

This is a nice little restaurant usually very busy the staff is friendly I like the Breads and buns are good a nice little salad bar depending on what you order the food is usually very good although sometimes the quality can vary a bit depending on what you order pricing is on par with other restaurants in that location I highly recommend this restaurant.

The Luna cocktail was tasty. Mediterranean squid appetizer was good, a bit on the salty side. The salmon special had too many competing flavors. It was filling but I would have preferred a simpler dish.

This is one of the best places to eat in Anacortes. The food quality is almost Michelin star level, almost. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming. No reservations are needed for lunch.Their deconstructed clam chowder is one of the best things to order in all of Anacortes.
